The theme for a zine put together by a few of MIAD’s 2026 illustration students. As one of the illustrators in that class, I joined. Here is my spin on the theme: Cycles, titled Cycles of Life & Death.

I start many of my pieces with a mind map (especially if the piece is based on a word), then a mood board, and then sketches. For this piece, I happened to be going through old work, found a half-finished piece from a few years ago, and decided to take the idea and make something new.
